About
Welcome!
The Scott Patriot Program was launched on September 11, 2013 by the Leadership Council Southwestern Illinois, McKendree University and various Metro East chamber of commerce organizations to recognize organizations that are committed to supporting veterans. In 2017, Scott Patriot 2.0 was launched to further expand our sphere of influence with a job portal to directly connect hiring professionals with military families seeking employment.
Mission:
The mission of the Scott Patriot Program is to allow a space for transitioning military personelle to connect with local hiring managers, provide transparent documentation on how contractors can interface with Scott Air Force Base, and to advocate for the needs of military members and their families with issues such as professional license reciprocity.
