The Scott Patriot Program was launched on September 11, 2013 by the Leadership Council Southwestern Illinois, McKendree University and various Metro East chamber of commerce organizations to recognize organizations that are committed to supporting veterans. In 2017, Scott Patriot 2.0 was launched to further expand our sphere of influence with a job portal to directly connect hiring professionals with military families seeking employment. These organizations have recognized the value in hiring veterans and are actively seeking out individuals with the skill sets that veterans have to offer. Click Here to view supporting organizations.

The mission of the Scott Patriot Program is to ensure that local businesses and communities providing support to our friends at Scott Air Force Base, their families, and all veterans are recognized as military friendly, while also growing the level of support the base receives from other area businesses. One year after the program launched over 650 businesses and organizations signed up and members are still joining today.

We invite you to be a part of this exciting initiative. Chances are, you’re already doing something to support our military families and we want to be sure to recognize your support so you can be distinguished as a Scott Patriot.

Participation in the Scott Patriot Program is absolutely free.
